Merry Christmas!!!

Yeah~ Christmas is coming! Now I have to recommend some music that is I should listen in Christmas.
Even though the music I listen always are very powerful, shocking, or mysterious... But Christmas is a lively day (that is what I think about :P ). So, it is quite hard for me to recommend music piece that is suitable for Christmas... Anyway, these are the music I recommend:

Variations on "Ah vous dirais-je, Maman" - Mozart
Double Violin Concerto - Bach
Symphony No. 4 'Italian' - Mendelssohn
Hallelujah chorus (from Messiah oratorio) - Handel
Kreutzer Sonata, 1st movement - Beethoven
Symphony No. 7, 1st and 4th movement - Beethoven
Symphony No. 9, 4th movement - Beethoven
Concerto for Mandolin, Strings, & Harpsichord, R.425, 1st and 3rd movement - Vivaldi
Concerto for 2 Mandolins and Strings, R.532 - Vivaldi
Symphony No. 5, 3rd movement - Sibelius
Orpheus in the Underworld - Offenbach

If you think we should listen to clam music in Christmas, then I will recommend...
Canon in D - Pachelbel
Air on G string - Bach
Fugue in G minor 'Little Fugue' - Bach
Humoresque - Dvorak (sorry, I don't know which Humoresque)
Vocalise - Rachmaninoff
Symphony No. 7, 2nd movement - Beethoven
Requiem - Mozart
Adagio - Albinoni
Prelude No. 15 'Raindrop' - Chopin

Anyway, there should be more music in this list... Maybe I have miss out something? I don't know whether it is suitable for Christmas? or maybe that music piece is more suitable to listen on New Year (one of the example is "The Blue Danube")?
There are many Classical Music that I never listen before. So, this is what I have recommend with my limited knowledge...... Hope other people can leave comments to tell more...

Great list! good music there but I think none of those fit into the context of Christmas... no offense but, err... No one should be listening to a REQUIEM on Christmas eve lol

Also the Adagio by Albinoli and Chopin Prelude are far too melancholic for a jolly day like Christmas!

I think that pieces by the English composers are more suitable as the Christmas songs are already based on the English folk songs anyway, Vaughan Williams, Leroy Anderson, and even Tchaikovsky are more suitable in my opinion.
